Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Business Manager with a focus on lawn care. This role is perfect for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional people skills, and a genuine love for connecting with the local community. The ideal candidate will excel in sales and administration, foster a collaborative team environment, and possess some knowledge or a keen interest in lawn care, gardening, or landscaping.

Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement:

Act as the face of our business within the local community, establishing and nurturing relationships with residents, businesses, and community organisations.

Organise and participate in community events, workshops, and outreach programs to enhance brand visibility and community engagement.

  • Sales and Business Development:

Drive sales through effective marketing strategies, networking, and relationship-building.

Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.

Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales plans.

  • Administration:

Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.

Manage customer inquiries, orders, and follow-up to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and other relevant business data.

  • Team Collaboration:

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by providing leadership and support to team members.

Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless coordination between sales and service delivery.

Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, share insights, and address challenges.

  • Lawn Care Expertise:

Leverage knowledge or passion for lawn care, gardening, or landscaping to enhance customer interactions and provide valuable insights.

Stay updated on industry trends, products, and best practices to continuously improve service offerings.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales and administration, with a track record of achieving targets.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for community engagement.

Team player with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.

Basic knowledge or a keen interest in lawn care, gardening, or landscaping.

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

Location 

While our ‘official’ registered office is in Harrogate, we all work remotely across different locations. We have regular team working-together days in both Harrogate and London, so you would need to live/work somewhere reasonably accessible to one or more of these locations.
