I think moss has got a place.
But it's not in the lawns I look after.
Moss is a funny old friend, in some ways It's a good thing, it's a happily growing plant.
But where it becomes a bit of a villain is in how it grows, how it wins the battle of growth with the grass.
You see moss layers over the grass given time.
It gets deep, and eventually swamps the grass.
Game over grass.
So with all the lawns I look after, even the ones that look in fine condition I'm always keen to spray off the lawn with some moss control, just to keep the fight at bay.
Oh btw, if you feed the grass it tends to have much better chance of out growing the moss.
